Primary Factors

· Memphis – Rudy Gay dominated early on both offense and defense. Kinsey continues to impress, and the Grizzlies’ speed game overwhelmed China when both point guards, Kyle Lowry and Mike Conley, Jr. played together in the backcourt.

· Team China – Jianlian Yi impressed early in the first half, keeping China in the game, but he picked up 7 first-half fouls, partly because the team lacked defensive cohesion.
